I started on this path as a kid, gathering edible wild plants with my father.  This blossomed into a passion for botanical medicine-making, wildcrafting, and a career as a NYC herbalist that lasted more than a decade.  Combining my traditional herbal knowledge with science has led to the formulation of the topical products at phytoformulary.com, and many of the items in my natural pharmacy.

My interest in using food as medicine led me back to college where I graduated with honors from CUNY’s Hunter College with a BS in Nutrition.  I went on to earn my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University in Washington graduating in 2007 and enjoyed a thriving private practice in Captain Cook, Hawaii for 14 years. My husband and I relocated to North Florida in September of 2021 and I continue to serve my established Hawaii patients remotely.

At this time, the State of Florida does not license Naturopathic Doctors. Let’s hope that changes in the future!
